Boa noite pessoal,

instalei o Manjaro Gnome e estou com problemas com o wireless, infelizmente a conexão está muito lenta para fazer downloads e navegar. Alguém teve um problema parecido e conseguiu resolver?

Eu estou pensando em tentar instalar esse driver disponível aqui https://github.com/lwfinger/rtlwifi_new ... /rtl8723ae
mas não sei bem se da pra desinstalar depois.

Olá colega, durante o uso da placa wireless poste aqui o log do kernel gerado pelo comando

Por favor poste a saída do comando entre as tags [ code ][ /code ]
Estou pedindo isso porque já passei por problemas de compatibilidade do driver da minha placa wireless com o Kernel e isso fazia o desempenho da mesma ficar péssimo, com muita lentidão e quedas, e quando fui analisar o log do kernel encontrei várias mensagens de erro apontando para a placa wireless. Aqui nesse tópico até ajudei uma pessoa que tinha a mesma placa que eu: -t3843.html

Dependendo das mensagem que podem aparecer no seu log podemos encontrar algo relacionado a isso:

Se este for o seu caso ali tem uma solução, mas precisamos primeiro analisar o seu log do kernel.

Parece que você está tendo problemas com bluetooth, eu passei por isso esse ano mas no meu caso era um problema de interferência entre as frequências do bluetooth e do wireless, cheguei a pedir ajuda no fórum do Arch internacional mas acabei descobrindo como resolver sozinho: https://bbs.archlinux.org/default.html"codebox">

Acredito que não seja o mesmo problema que o meu caso anterior, fiz algumas pesquisas no Google com o nome desse módulo rtl8723ae e encontrei diversos tópicos de pessoas com problemas de lentidão mas nenhuma apresentou uma solução, você já testou outro sistema sem ser o Manjaro e a lentidão continuou? Já testou no Windows? Se a lentidão continuar em todos os sistemas é provável que o problema seja na placa, caso não, então é problema de compatibilidade do driver.

No windows funcionava normalmente, testei no Ubuntu e também tinha esse problema , e agora no Manjaro pelo visto também.

Crie o arquivo /etc/modprobe.d/rtl8723ae.conf com o conteúdo citado no link acima para problemas de economia de energia, use o comando:

Reinicie o sistema e faça novos testes.
Não sei se vai ajudar mas como é um problema frequente com esse driver pode ser o seu caso, depois deixa um feedback.

Outra alternativa é você instalar a versão do driver mais atualizada, aquele link que você postou acima tem um pacote no AUR:

Tente isso também.

Testei o driver disponível no AUR e infelizmente nenhuma mudança, seria isso algum conflito com o driver que já vem no kernel

UPDATE: Depois de reiniciar o sistema perdi a conexão wifi, tive que desinstalar o driver para voltar a conexão.

Pelas mensagens de erro parece que você não tem o pacote de headers referentes a versão do seu Kernel instalada, tente instalar o pacote linux44-headers usando o pacman.
