Mais uma verifica se tens todos os pacotes gstreamer instalados, ugly, bad, good, libav, ffmpeg. Menos os que tenham qt.

Tenho e está tudo atualizado...
Agradeço pela intenção, realmente está difícil não encontro solução em diversos outros fóruns.

Tenta habilitar aceleração por hardware, eu cheguei a criar um tópico sobre isso a um tempo atrás: post21849.html
No seu caso você teria que modificar o passo a passo para a sua placa da nvidia.

Consegui ligar a aceleração por hw no Chromium
Poderia me ajudar quanto a lib? não sei qual escolher.

Acho que no seu caso é necessário instalar o pacote nvidia-340xx-utils:

GeForce 8/9 and GeForce 100-300 series are supported by nvidia-340xx-utils.

E para verificar se o sistema habilitou a aceleração por hardware instale o pacote vdpauinfo e execute o comando:

Infelizmente os videos continuam em camera lenta, os 720p 60fps no chromium, tive a impressao que diminuiu o numero de frames perdidos nos videos no vlc, antes era pouco, coisa de 10~15, agora fui ver e foram so 6~10.

Poŕem, agora a resolução que eu usava ([email protected]) não quer mais aparecer, o máximo que posso usar agora é 1024x768 !!
já tentei definir com o xrandr porem retorna este erro quando tento colocar o modo:

Já pesquisei e sugerem alterações no xorg.conf, as quais tentei e também não obtive êxito.

Dá uma vista de olhos por aqui https://wiki.manjaro.org/index.html/Conf ... hics_Cards . Será que tens o driver nouveau instalado? Caso instales o nvidia tens que desinstalar o nouveau ou colocá-lo em "black list". Lê a wiki e vê se consegues resolver.

Abre o terminal e passa este comando, outra coisa já tentaste com o Vivaldi?

Rapaz, passei os olhos pelos features desse Vivaldi parece bom *o que me interessou foi o theme scheduling*....

Vou instalar e testar, tomara que ele seja bom com os videos

Bom existem alguns relatos no forum oficial com problemas de lag/flow nos vídeos em 720. Nalguns casos tem haver com o kernel qual o teu kernel?

Descobri mais uma dica, no forum oficial, dizem que se deve desactivar a gpu. Por acaso fui ver no meu chromium/opera/vivaldi e está desabilitada.

To add to this. So you don't have to enter this in the command line all the time.

cp /usr/share/applications/chromium.desktop ~/.local/share/applications/
then edit the chromium.desktop in ~/.local/share/applications/chromium.desktop
Scroll all the way down to the bottom. and edit Exec line

Exec=chromium --disable-gpu %U
Then save it.
